The Eiffel tower

The Eiffel tower was made in memory of the French Revolution. Gustave Eiffel’s design was chosen out of 700 proposals that where submitted for a design competition. At 300 meters (320.75 m including antenna), and 7,000 tons, it was the world’s tallest building until 1930.

Ratatouille and “Happy Birthday” in French

Currently my father is giving the head of the house a harmonica lesson while my sister is teaching Marion, our “Couch hostess”, the cup game. (Couch Hostess?? Check out how we roll, where we end up and why here) Continue reading ‘Ratatouille and “Happy Birthday” in French’
