9 Does he who implanted the ear not hear?
Does he who formed the eye not see?
10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
Does he who teaches man lack knowledge?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man;
he knows that they are futile.
12 Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD,
the man you teach from your law;
13 you grant him relief from days of trouble,
till a pit is dug for the wicked.
I just realized today that on the dashboard for JN there was a little peice text that read:
“A total of 99 posts”
And I thought:
“Well, shoot! Lets get into the triple digits!”
And: if you comment right now I could approve it and we we’ll also have reached 100 comments! What a coincidence
So here we are! And in case you were worrying if this post was pointless, read on! Continue reading ‘The 100th post!’

Finally! Nathansband.com is complete! After hours and hours of hard work and brain storming the design, the fonts, the tag line, the content: It is here! It already blows my mind the intricacies of Gods handiwork in his creation, whats furthermore incredible is, his creation can imagine, think, calculate, design, sing, and be completely creative and create!
Our creator made humans who could create. I like my designs, just as artists are proud of their paintings. But lets try to see the bigger picture. The bigger God. The Psalm 139 God.
Hey all, this is Nathan. I’ve completely lost the game in posts and best style of writing to my brother, Justin. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading his deep and insightful posts. He has inspired me with all his well written master peices and I am proud that he is gaining interest in cartooning and writing.
Without further ado… I have been completely amazed at the amazing Lyrics Keith Green has put into all of his songs! Here is a piece called Jesus commands us to go! Continue reading ‘Happy To Sing’
Have you ever wondered where the saying “Well, what does that have to do with the price of rice in China?” comes from? I won’t be addressing the issue in this article, but I figured it would be a fantastically ironic thesis statement. Dig in…buckle up for a 2.5 year recap from Nathan. DOn’t worry, it’ll be quick, trust me… Continue reading ‘2.5 year update from Nathan’
“blublabluuh?” I asked confidently through my snorkel. “Yeah, sure, Nathan.” My brother responded. We were night snorkeling in the Red Sea. Around 8 pm it had gotten dark. As we swam the current pulled us south, away from the shore in front of our beloved “Sea View Hotel.”
Dahab is a small city in Egypt that boarders the red sea. With sun cream topping out at 35 dollars for 150 ml and internet cafe’s on every block, this town, with the blazing hot Egyptian sun over head, stayed busy entertaining tourists. Taxi? No way! Pick up trucks preside here and we all pile in the back except Mom. Mother hesitantly sits in front next to the driver.
I tug at Justin’s ankle. Again, in mumbling communication I tell him of the Finding Nemo fish and motion towards the floating counterpart. Deep below us lays the coral reef, now a dark haunted green at dusk. Continue reading ‘“Wahad” Eel’
In Eilat, Israel we walked along the beach toward Jordan. Since taxis only hold four passengers, we needed to take two taxis inland to the border crossing. We found one taxi driver that would risk losing his license for three months by taking all five of us. On the short drive there he decided that 50 shekels would cover his risk, even though we could have taken two taxi’s for 20 shekels each. I guess luggage was extra and we had three backpacks. You’ll never guess what happened next. Continue reading ‘A lot of Eilat and Petra’
Upon sorting through some video files I encountered this clip that was shot in the beach town of Essaouria, Morocco back on June 13, 2007. Justin had tried to teach the little kids to slap beat while Dad played “This Train”. Fun!
Hope you enjoyed it

Short and sweet.
Might have been better served fresh.
