Funny and not so funny

One day, a man asked God, “What would you call a thousand years?”
GOD: A day.
MAN: And…What about a thousand dollars?
GOD: A Penny
MAN: Would you give me a penny then God?
GOD: Sure, just give me a day

Something thats not funny however is that some people think that since God says a thousand years is like a day, and a day like a thousad years, then the creation of the world took 6,000 years (”But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.”-2 Peter 2:8). But The bible says specifically: “God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.” (Genises 1:5)

Now God said EVENING AND MORNING, and you cant get much more specific Than that. that pattern continues in verses 8, 13, 19, and 23.
13 And there was evening, and there was morning—the third day.

19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.

In conclusion, Its not a funny thing to twist scripture.
