The events of one night:
I realized I had a backdoor trojan virus on my computer, this means a hacker can find that backdoor and play with whatever they want to on my system. Internet connections, passwords, files, etc.
I grabbed a Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 cd and tried installing. Went through the nerve racking process of formatting all the partitions, creating new ones, researching what the 8 mbs of “unpartitioned space” was, and finnally, rebooting and going with it graphically. It began leading me through the installation of the system, And then you know what?! Continue reading ‘Cathartic experiences of a geek.’
It started out as a normal day…wake up….brush teeth… eat yumynis…home school………when suddenly, I went to the smallish store to buy some food, and the lady who checks stuff out gave me a map that had all the best hikes around Asturias! But still…I thought it was a normal day, and it was. (If you have a spectacular day every day, then you count spectacular as normal and normal as spectacular)
I went home and showed my mom the map and I told her that the lady at the counter had especially suggested that we go up the Pina. I asked dad if we could go on a walk to Pinos, and he stood up… and off we go! 15 minutes later we were trudging up the steep trail. Continue reading ‘Hiking in “Pinos”’
“The word random is used to express lack of order, purpose, cause, or predictability in non-scientific parlance. A random process is a repeating process whose outcomes follow no describable deterministic pattern, but follow a probability distribution.” -a disputed wiki article
Some people might tend to describe this blog or blogs in general as being “random”. The term random specifically means “lack of order”. This blog has order. If we had a behind the scenes on the making of this blog you’d be amazed at our process of posting things to this site. This post might seem random, but in actuality it was spurred on by an idea. Inspiring ideas should be compared to the very essence of this blog. And the esance of this blog may be carried out by “random teenagers”, but the serious thought put into these posts (that try hard to explain themselves through letter and word and exclamation marks) is so rampant that posts seem to generate “at random” and “on impulse”. This is a note from your host, expressing an idea.

The snow ball has been thrown. Beautifully crafted, white, lumpy, powder on the out side, sticky snow at the core, rolling along getting bigger and bigger, NATHANPHOTOS.COM has today officially been launched into cyberspace. The reason we describe it a snow ball on a hill is because of how much the photography portfolio site will grow. Yours sincerly has about 5 gigs of photos that will hopefully soon be organized, albumanized, and watermarkonized. Don’t you just love it? The sights of our travels will be up for the checking out. Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, England, France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Hungary, Canada, Gibraltar, Portugal and many more exotic unknown places will soon be revealed through creative, precise, eye-catching photography. Hold on to your hats folks and buckle in for a wild ride.

My trek began as I searched for a deserted town that was said to be up on the hill behind our apartment in Collanzo, but afterwards I figured out that I was really on the wrong mountain all the time. I took my bike and rode until I met the bottom of the hill, then I pushed my bike back up. When I was half way up, some Spaniard boys my age asked if I wanted to play soccer, “Qiueres jugar futbol con nosotros?”. I said yes. Continue reading ‘My Asturian Journey’
Here is a short video starring my cousin Nora Joy!

Mr. Bock told me he was looking forward to seeing me juggle on the giraffe unicycle he had let me barrow. I didn’t know how to juggle but my brother does and I started practicing. After about three days of practice I got up to 400 throws before dropping one of the three balls. Now I’m learning how to do some tricks like my brother does. I still can’t juggle on the unicycle very much but I’m working on it.
